Great tool!  Thanks for putting this together.  Is there any chance that a future version will be able to analyze VB.NET?

Hi static_readonly, great to hear that you like this project. Fortunately, adding support for additional languages does not require so much effort due to the token based nature of Clone Detective.
Therefore, adding support for VB is definitely a goal for one of our next versions.

Great tool!  It looks like this tool cannot find the duplicate code with in a single file/class.  Is that right?

No, Clone Detective will also find clones in the same code file (see screenshot). However, the default is that only clones longer than ten lines are considered. You can configure this by edit the solution settings (see screenshot).
