Clone Detective did not produce a clone report. Please review the log file. Title is required

description

Hi. I added a comment to http://www.codeplex.com/CloneDetectiveVS/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=11061 but it remained closed.

I installed Clone Detective today and am getting the same error. I'm running VS.NET 2008 (.NET 3.5) with JRE 6 on XP. I'm guessing the program isn't compatible with one of those? I have several projects in my solution - one website app and the rest are libraries.

Can you please check the used Java runtime? Clone Detective uses the one configured under Tools -> Options -> Clone Detective -> Java Home. During install time Clone Detective sets the value for this option to the one found in the registry.

Hi terrajobst. That value was not initially set since JRE wasn't installed. I installed JRE 6 and pointed CD to C:\Program Files\Java\jre6. I looked in the registry at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.6" and the value of "JavaHome" which is C:\Program Files\Java\jre6.

I've tried CD on another computer and get the same exact error. Looks as though you have some issues to iron out.
